Flap Wheel is a versatile, high performing abrasive tool designed for grinding, deburring, cleaning & polishing of small diameter tubing, concave & convex surfaces, channel & recessed areas on a variety of surfaces. Flap Wheels are made of flaps of Coated Abrasive. These flaps are reinforced at the center with a strong flexible resilient adhesive. The Salient feature of the Flap Wheel is that it is non-loading and non dulling because of the unique nature of flaps wearing away evenly in use.

Non-woven surface finishing flap wheels are an ideal choice for a wide variety of blending and finishing applications common in the metal fabrication, welding and polishing industries. Flap wheels are conformable to intricate shapes and contours. Designed to deliver a consistent finish with a uniform rate of cut, flap wheels wear away continually exposing fresh abrasives. There are two types of non woven flap wheels: non-woven only abrasive flaps where finishing is the primary application, and inter-leaf with alternating cloth and non-woven abrasive flaps (less conformable, more aggressive) for stock removal and finishing. Inter-leaf flap wheels must always be run in the direction indicated by the arrow.Used for a wide range of metal fabrication and welding applications.
